How Do I Access Human Resources?

This article covers how to log in to PeopleSoft/CMS Human Resources which is the campus's human resources system.

1. Log in to the campus portal.

2. Locate the Titan Online widget and click on the appropriate icon. Or click on the Titan Online Apps button and select the appropriate icon.

  1. Employee Homepage contains functionality for employees to view and manage their personal HR information. For example, an employee can update their mailing address, report absences, or make changes to their benefits.
  2. Manager Homepage contains functionality for managers to view and approve absence entries and time worked entries submitted by the employees that report to the manager. Managers also have the ability to enter absences or time worked on behalf of an employee that reports to them.
  3. Human Resources contains functionality for authorized users to view and manage HR data for employees in their department(s). For example, an authorized user can hire student workers, review staff/management absences, or create a contract for a part-time faculty.

1. Use the links in the Employee Self Service box to navigate.

Access to Employee Self Service is granted automatically to all state employees.

You may find it easier to navigate using the links in the Employee Self Service box, but you can also use the left menu or the main menu to navigate.

2. After you make a selection, you can click Home to return to the main page. Or use the breadcrumb menu at the top of the page to navigate.

Navigate Manager Homepage (Manager Self Service)

Access to Manager Self Service is granted automatically when a manager is assigned positions that report to them in the Human Resources system.

  2. Use the breadcrumb menu to navigate to another part of Manager Self Service.
Navigate Human Resources

1. You are now viewing the Human Resources homepage. Use the Main Menu at the top of the page, the left menu on the sidebar, the self-service options in the middle of the page, or Favorites (if you have set them up) to access functionality.

Access to the Human Resources section requires a PeopleSoft HR Access Request Form.

  1. The Main Menu drop-down menu allows you to quickly navigate multiple levels of the menu.
  2. The Menu on the left of the screen allows you to keep each level of the menu open as you navigate.
  3. The self-service menus allow you to quickly access specific functionality related to your employee and/or manager role.
  4. Favorites allows you to create one-click shortcuts to the functionality that you frequently use.
