1. Import course data from current University Catalog

To have the most current course information please use the current University Catalog.

Prior to beginning a proposal, various forms will require the course to be imported.  The steps below will guide you through this process.

When beginning a course change form, select the check mark to start a proposal.  This will automatically start the import process.  

Please make sure that the current Catalog is selected.

In previous versions, there would be a filter by field.  Now it is automatically displayed below.  Select the Prefix of the course you wish to create a proposal from.

In the example, we are using AFAM.  Select search and a list of AFAM courses will display.  

Once you have found the course you are wanting to import, select the import icon to the right of the course. If the course is not found, it may be on the next page.

After selecting the import icon, a list of tables will display, scroll to the bottom of the table and select Build Proposal.  

After selecting Build Proposal, you will be directed to the proposal to begin changes.

2. Import program data from current University Catalog

To have the most current Program information please use the current University Catalog.

Are the changes being made to a single program or across multiple programs

Single program with/without concentration: "Select program"

Programs that are associated with Concentrations, Options, or Emphasis: "Select Shared Core"

Make sure the Current Catalog is select to have the most up to date program information

Enter the Name of Program or Share Core. For assistance email [email protected]

In this example we have selected 'Program' and typed in the name "accounting". Select the Program you are wanting to import and select the import icon.

After selecting the import icon, a list of tables will display, scroll to the bottom of the table and select Build Proposal.  

After selecting Build Proposal, you will be directed to the proposal to begin changes.
