My Students Engagement Report
This article covers how faculty can use the My Students Engagement report on the Faculty Student Success Dashboard (FSSD).
What does this report show?
The My Student Engagement page provides a visual depiction of students engagement based on your term and class selections.
If you teach multiple sections of the same course, you can cross-list a single Canvas course so it is used for all of the sections you teach. View How do I cross-list two sections of the same course? for more information.
1. Log in to the campus portal and access the Faculty Dashboard (FSSD).
Report Overview
By default, you will usually see data on all students in your classes for the current semester or the most recent semester when you taught.
- Report filters
- Engagement Mean and Standard Deviation Table: allows you to view the mean and standard deviation level of engagement for each class/section by a student variable.
- Student Engagement Table: allows you to view each individual student and their engagement level for each week of the term.
