Appointment Workflow

This article covers commonly taken actions in TitanNet that are related to student appointments.

What would you like to do?

Did the student check-in for a pre-scheduled appointment or a drop-in visit?

If the student does not check-in, you can proceed with the appointment. The appointment will automatically move from your upcoming appointments block into the recent appointments block after the scheduled end time.

Note that if the student checks in through TitanNet/the Navigate mobile app, their appointment will move into your In-Progress Visits.

 

Preferably, you would ask the student to check-in for a drop-in visit in order to create an appointment in TitanNet and block off the time on your calendar.

If the student checks in, you will be able to view and take action on the appointment in your In-Progress Visits queue.

If the student does not check-in, you will need to add an ad-hoc appointment summary after the meeting.

Students can check themselves out of their appointments, so you only need to check them out of they forgot to do so themselves.

If you can't make it to a meeting or you received a cancellation request, you can cancel an upcoming appointment.

If a student was waiting for a drop-in visit and left or time ran out for drop-ins, mark them as "not attended to."

Is the appointment ongoing or over?

If the student checked in for their appointment, they will be listed in your In-Progress Visits queue on your Appointments Queue tab. You can add an appointment summary from there.
If the student did not check-in for their appointment, they will be listed in your Appointments tab. You can add an appointment summary from there.

If the end time for an appointment has elapsed but the appointment hasn't been checked out, that appointment may still be in the in-progress queue.

If the student had a scheduled appointment or checked in for a drop-in visit, locate the appointment in your Appointments tab, then add an appointment summary.
If the student did not have a scheduled appointment or drop-in visit, you will need to add an ad-hoc appointment summary.
