Enrolling in a CSU Fully Online Class
This article covers how CSUF students can request enrollment in a CSU Fully Online class.
This process is to request enrollment in a CSU Fully Online Class. Your request will be reviewed by the host campus and you will be notified whether your request is accepted or rejected.
CSU Fully Online Requirements:
Current CSU students who are enrolled in full-time tuition units, more than 6 units, and have paid full-time tuition or pending financial aid covering tuition are eligible. In addition, students must have completed at least one term at their home CSU campus and earned 12 units with a minimum 2.0 GPA. Incoming transfer students are eligible to participate their first semester at the CSU.

CSU Fully Online units count towards the maximum number of units for each term. You cannot enroll in a CSU Fully Online class if it would cause you to be enrolled in more than the maximum number of units for the term.
1. Log in to the campus portal and access the Student Homepage in Titan Online.
3. Select Enroll in CSU Fully Online.
4. Select the term you want to enroll in. Then click Continue.

5. Enter search criteria to locate the course you want to enroll in. You can also leave the search fields blank to view all available CSU Fully Online courses at all campuses. Then click Search.
- Enter search criteria such as Host Campus or Subject to locate a specific course. Or leave all of the search field blanks to view all available CSU Fully Online courses.
- Then click Search.
8. If available, use the drop-down menu to change your grading basis (Graded or Credit/No Credit). Click Select Class to continue your enrollment request.

9. Review the Prerequisites that are listed for the course. Place a checkmark next to the course(s) that you have completed or are currently taking that fulfill the prerequisite requirement(s).

10. If needed, enter information on transfer courses that meet the prerequisite requirements or an alternate method of eligibility. Place a checkmark next to Requisites Confirmed to confirm that you have reviewed the prerequisites and you meet the requirements.

11. Then click Confirm to go to the Final Confirmation page.
13. The legend at the top of the screen lets you know how to interpret the status of your request. Check the Status column for the status of your request. Then click OK.
- The legend indicates how to interpret the status of your enrollment request. A green checkmark means that your request was submitted. A red x means there was an error and the request was not submitted.
- Check the Status column for the status of your request.
- Click OK.
14. You are now back at the main Enroll in CSU Fully Online page. To cancel your request, click Cancel Request.
Next steps
You will receive follow-up communications from the CSU campus that is hosting the class letting you know if your enrollment was completed or not.
Common Error Messages
You must complete 12 units to enroll in CSU Fully Online.
You must have completed 12 units to enroll in CSU Fully Online. This error is letting you know that you have not yet met that requirement.
In the above example, the student has not completed any units yet as they are a first-time freshman attending their first semester, so they are not eligible to enroll in a CSU Fully Online class.
Full Time Fees Not Paid
You must be enrolled as a full-time student and have paid your tuition fees to enroll in CSU Fully Online. This error is letting you know that you have not yet paid your full time fees.
