Students: Updating Your Phone Numbers and Addresses
This article covers how students can update their phone numbers and home/mailing addresses in the Student Homepage.
Access Your Profile
1. Log in to the campus portal and access your Student Homepage.
Phone Numbers
1. Click on Contact Details in the left menu.

3. Use the Type drop-down menu to select the type of phone number you are adding. Then enter the Phone Number. Check Preferred to set this as your preferred phone number. Check Enable Texts to receive texts at this phone number. Then click Save.
Note that you will only see available phone types in the drop-down menu. For example, if you already have a Local or Home phone number added, you will not see the Local or Home phone types in the drop-down menu.

- Use the Type drop-down menu to select the type of phone number you are adding.
- Then enter the Phone Number.
- Check Preferred to set this as your preferred phone number.
- Check Enable Texts to receive texts at this phone number.
- Then click Save.
1. Click on Contact Details in the left menu.

3. Make the updates to the phone number information as needed. Then click Save.

- Edit the phone number.
- Check Preferred to set this as your preferred phone number.
- Check Enable Texts to receive texts at this phone number.
- Click Save to save your changes.
1. Click on Contact Details in the left menu.

3. Click Delete.

4. Click Yes to confirm you want to delete the phone number.

4.1. If you're deleting your preferred phone number, you will be prompted to select a new preferred phone number.

Addresses
When should I choose Add an address versus Update an existing address?
Choose Add a new address if you are in the process of moving to a new address. This allows you to specify a date when the new address is active.
Choose Update an existing address if you have already moved to the new address and want the new address to be active immediately.
1. Click on Addresses in the left menu.

2. Click the plus sign button next to the type of address you want to add: Home or Mailing.
Home address is what you consider your permanent address.
Mailing address is where you want the campus to send any mail.
3. Select the date when this new address will be effective. Then fill in the details of the new address and click Save.

- Select the date when this new address will be effective. It can be today or in the future.
- You can use Copy From to copy the address information from another entry (e.g., copy the Home address to the Mailing address or vice versa).
- Enter the details of the new address.
- Then click Save.
When should I choose Add an address versus Update an existing address?

3. Enter the updated address details. Then click Save.

- Enter the updated address details.
- Then click Save.
Note that you must have at least one Home address on file, so you cannot delete all Home addresses.

3. Click Delete.

4. Click Yes to confirm you want to delete the address.
