How Can I Find My Professor’s Email Address, Office Phone Number, and Office Location Through the Student Portal?
In this guide, you will learn where to locate your instructor's contact details through the Student Homepage in the CSUF Portal.
1. Go to the Cal State Fullerton website and click Portal for Students, Faculty, and Staff.
2. Login to the CSUF Portal.
Only enter your username. You do not need to enter your entire email ending in "@csu.fullerton.edu." You may also need to complete DUO authentication.
New to Duo?
- Enter your campus username and current password.
- Click Login.
3. In your Dashboard, Select "Student Homepage"
Once you sign into your CSUF Portal account, you will be brought to the Portal Dashboard. You must click on Student Homepage.
The Student Homepage button can be found in a few locations.
- Apps list/search bar
- Tiles
- Quick Shortcut cube icon
4. Select Manage Classes.
5. Ensure the "View My Classes/Schedule" tab is selected. Then, click the Class box of the class that you want to view instructor contact information for.
- Make sure that View My Classes/Schedule is selected/highlighted.
- Click the Class box of the class for which you want to find instructor contact information.
- If there are two sections in the Class box, select the section for which you want to view the instructor's details. (e.g., a lab might have different instructors for the laboratory and the seminar components, so you want to make sure you pick the right one.)
After clicking the class/section, a pop-up display will open with class information.
6. Select Meeting Information. Then, click your instructor's name.
7. View your instructor's contact information.
You will now see all of your instructor's contact information for the one specific course/section you selected. You can review the following contact details:
- Instructor name
- Phone
- Office Location/Address
