Reg by Acad Level and First Enroll Date Report
This article covers how to run and interpret the Reg by Acad Level and First Enroll Date report on the Course Enrollments dashboard.
What does this report show?
The Reg by Acad Level and First Enroll Date report shows the enrollment count for each day during the term based on academic level. The Report can be filtered by college, department and term. The department values in the filter are cascaded from the college. The report has a graph and table. The graph consists of a line and bar chart. The line is the enrollment count, which is changing gradually, and the bar chart is the enrollment count for each day in the term. The table displays the count of enrollments, based on the academic level and department.
1. Log in to the campus portal and access TitanInsights.
2. Click Shared folders to access dashboards/reports.
4. Select Course Enrollment.
5. Select the Course Enrollment dashboard.
6. Then click on the Reg By Acad Level and First Enroll Date tab.
- Select the Reg By Acad Level and First Enroll Date tab.
- If you don't see the tab, click the double right arrow button to scroll through the report tabs.
Report Overview
When you access the report, your personal filters/settings for the dashboard/report appear. If you have not set up your personal filters, the system defaults will automatically populate.
Report Filters
The first section of the report contains the available filters. Utilize the filters to narrow down your report results or find specific values.
Filter Descriptions
Filter | Description |

College | The college(s) you want to include on the report. |
Department | The
department(s) you want to include in the report. The values in the
Department
column are filtered based on the College value, so when you choose a
College, you will only see Departments that are in that College. |
Term | The specific semester/session for which you want to view data. |
Reading the Chart and Accessing Scholar Details
The Reg by Acad Level and First Enroll Date chart shows the number of enrollments in classes for the selected academic level (e.g., freshman, sophomore, junior, senior, graduate) on the dates in the chart. A secondary line tracks the enrollment percentage by date.
1. Choose what Academic Level you want to view in the chart.
3. When you hover over a bar in the chart, the count will appear. Click on the bar to access the Scholar Detail.
3.1. Select Drill to Scholar Details.
3.2. The Enroll Date - Scholar Details tab will open in the same browser tab/window. You can now view the Campus-Wide ID (CWID) of each student who enrolled in courses on the selected date.
Reading the Table
The Reg by Acad Level and First Enroll Date chart shows the number of students in each academic level (e.g., freshman, sophomore, junior, senior, graduate) who registered for classes in the selected term. Additionally the data is broken down by department.
Column | Description |

Academic Level | The academic level of the students (e.g., freshman, sophomore, junior, senior, graduate). |
Department | The department associated with the students' declared major. |
Total Enrollment Count | The total number of students who have registered for classes during the selected term. |
