Historical Pattern for Course Registration Report
This article covers how to run and interpret the Historical Pattern for Course Registration report on the Course Enrollments dashboard.
What does this report show?
The Historical Pattern for Course Registration report shows the enrollment count for each day during the registration period for each course and term. The Report can be filtered by term and course. The report has a graph and table. The graph and table show the number of students enrolled in each. The table has the Term Desc, Course, Enrollment Date, and Number of Students.
1. Log in to the campus portal and access TitanInsights.
2. Click Shared folders to access dashboards/reports.
3. Click on the Student folder.
4. Select Course Enrollment.
5. Select the Course Enrollment dashboard.
6. Then click on the Historical Pattern for Course Registration tab.
- Select the Historical Pattern for Course Registration tab.
- If you don't see the tab, click the double right arrow button to scroll through the report tabs.
Report Overview
When you access the report, your personal filters/settings for the dashboard/report appear. If you have not set up your personal filters, the system defaults will automatically populate.
Report Filters
The first section of the report contains the available filters. Utilize the filters to narrow down your report results or find specific values.
1. Click on the Controls section to expand the filters.
2. Make your selections for each filter as necessary.
Filter Descriptions
| Filter | Description |
|---|---|
| Term | The specific semester/session for which you want to view data. |
| Course | The specific course for which you want to view data. |
Reading the Chart
The Course Enrolled Count chart shows the number of students who were enrolled in the selected course for the selected term as of a specific date. You can hover your mouse over the line to see specific counts.
Reading the Table
The Course Enrolled Count table also shows the number of students who were enrolled in the selected course for the selected term as of a specific date.

|---|---|
| Term Description | The selected semester or session. |
| Course | The selected course. |
| Enrollment Date | The date when one or more students enrolled in the course. |
| Number of Students | The total number of students enrolled in the class as of the enrollment date. |
