Degree Progress Dashboard Overview

This article contains an overview of the Degree Progress dashboard including important information about the reports and available reports.

This user guide assumes basic knowledge of TitanInsights. View the TitanInsights Basics & Overview guides for more information.

Please use Google Chrome to open the Degrees Dashboard for optimal performance.

Important Information About These Reports

  • The TitanInsights Degree Progress Analysis tool can be used to determine a broad number or population that have fulfilled or not fulfilled a specific requirement based on the search criteria determined by the user.
  • The units completed and not completed are an estimate based on search filters pulled from an audit batch process at the beginning and end of a semester and correlate to the dashboard audit.  
  • The TitanInsights Degree Progress Analysis tool is not used for official grad check purposes and is not directly connected to the official Titan Degree Audit (TDA).
  • It is recommended for advisors to run a TDA for up-to-date requirement information to review student progress.

Available Reports

The following reports are currently available in the Degree Progress dashboard:

  • The Degree Progress Analysis report shows a student's progress towards completing a degree.
  • The Estimated Units Needed Summary shows an estimate of the units needed for students to complete their degree.
  • The Degree Progress Detail report allows you to search for a specific student and view their progress towards degree completion.
  • The GE-A1,A2,B4 report shows a student's completion status of the Oral Communication (A.1), Written Communication (A.2), and Mathematics/Quantitative Reasoning (B.4) GE requirements.

Accessing the Reports

1. Access TitanInsights student reports.

If you do not see the TitanInsights icon in your Titan Online widget, you may not have submitted an Access Request Form to request this access. View instructions on the Access Request Form process.

2. Open the Degrees Progress folder.

3. Select the Degree Progress dashboard.

4. Click on the report tab that you want to view.
